Tram

Edinburgh's new tram network is a fast and environmentally friendly way to get yourself into the City Centre. When leaving International or Domestic Arrivals, turn left and follow the signs for "Trams for City Centre" and look for a tram for "York Place" The journey is estimated to take around 30 minutes.

Buses

Edinburgh is fortunate enough to have world-class bus transport links throughout the city, Lothian Buses connects every area of the city for one flat rate.

When departing from the Airport, there are two bus services that will get you to the City Centre

Airport -> City Centre

100 AirLink Express:

A very fast service taking the most direct route from Edinburgh Airport to Edinburgh City Centre, and is estimated to take 30 minutes.

Single Ticket: £4.50

Return: £7.50

Service 35:

A slower, but cheaper service to the city centre. We recommend visitors get off the bus at Forrest Road and walk up George IV Bridge towards the Royal Mile.

Single Ticket: £1.60 
Day Ticket (Valid on ANY Lothian Bus service): £4.00
